Anthony DiMaggio earned his PhD in political communication from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He has taught at numerous colleges and universities, and is the author of five academic books including most recently, Selling War, Selling Hope (SUNY Press, 2015) and The Politics of Persuasion (SUNY Press, 2017).
